環境フィールドワークI
先週、天竜ブランチでは、学内実習の環境フィールドワーク I が実施されました (http://fc-forecol.agr.shizuoka.ac.jp/wordpress/?p=1997)。 午前中は 2 班に分かれて植生断面図の作成と、土壌呼吸の測定を行いました。植生断面図の作成では、野生植物分類学で習ったことを思い出しながら 、木々を確認して、スケッチしていました。土壌呼吸の測定では、専用の装置を用いて比較的明るい尾根筋と、そうでない暗いところの二酸化炭素放出速度を比較しました。また、土壌水分の測定も行いました。午後は 3 班に分かれて 100 年生林の毎木調査を行いました。歩きなれない様子でしたが、黙々と胸高直径と樹高を測定していました。 （加） Last week, the Environmental Fieldwork I was held at the Tenryu Branch (http://fc-forecol.agr.shizuoka.ac.jp/wordpress/?p=1997&lang=en). In the morning, the students learned about hierarchical structure of forest by drawing cross-sections of vegetation and differences in soil respiration between ridges and valleys. In the afternoon, they conducted vegetation survey in the 100-year-old forest. It may be hard for them to walk around the forest, but they concentrated on measuring the diameter at breast height and tree height. Kagami
