ツリーウォーク足場完成＠南アルプスブランチ
南アルプスフィールドのツリーウォーク足場が完成しました！ 下から樹木を眺めていたのでは、樹木の特徴はよくわかりませんが、こうした足場を使うことで、間近に観察することができます。 足場の中には、オオイタヤメイゲツ、ミズメ、ヒメシャラ、ブナ、ウラジロモミ、テツカエデ、コハクウンボク、タンナサワフタギ、アセビなど、多様な種があります。同じ場所に生えていますが、こうした種の生理機能（CO2吸収や水、養分利用）や構造（葉の付き方や枝ぶり）には、どのような違いがあるのかを調べる予定です。その取り組みの様子や結果を実習で紹介していけたらと思います。 Canopy-access tower was finished in the end of June. Now, we can access crown top of various tree species, such as Acer shirasawanum, Acer nipponicum, Fagus crenata, Betula grossa, Stewarita monadelpha, Abies homolepis, Styrax shiraianus, Symplocos coreana, Pieris japonica, and can watch their leaves, flowers and branching pattern in detail. We will start study investigating inter-species differences in structure and eco-physiological functions in this summer, to clarify importance of species diversity on ecosystem service.
