天竜フィールドの樹木（花）を少し紹介したいと思います。 ・ヤマウグイスカグラ Lonicera gracilipes ・クロモジ Lindera umbellata ・ミツマタ Edgeworthia chrysantha ・ヒサカキ Eurya japonica どれも2週間ほど前に撮影した写真で、現在はすでに花が散ってしまった後です。 この季節は、一見するとスギヒノキの人工林だらけという感じの天竜フィールドも、よく目を凝らすと様々な樹種の花によって彩り豊かになっています。 （宇） We would like to introduce flowers in Tenryu Field. Lonicera gracilipes Kromoji Lindera umbellata Edgeworthia chrysantha Eurya japonica All of these photos were taken about two weeks ago, and now the flowers have already fallen off. At first glance, the Tenryu Field looks like an artificial forest full of cedar and cypresses, but if you look closely, you will see that the field has become rich in color with flowers of various tree species. 先週の金曜日（1/24）、天竜ブランチでは山開きの神事が行われました。地元の神主さんにいらしていただき、天竜・南アルプスでの安全と地域の発展を祈願していただきました。 今年も事故なく安全に過ごすことができるよう、気を引き締めてまいりたいとおもいます。 午後からは地域の方々をお招きし、演習林の現地見学会と懇談会が開かれました。およそ 25 名の参加があり、演習林での活動報告および白糸植物園の望月貴治さんによる話題提供が行われました。その後の懇親会もたいへん盛り上がりました。ご参加いただいたみなさま、ありがとうございました。 （栗）

昨年も地域のみなさま、学外の関係者のみなさまをはじめ、実習を行ううえで多くの方にご支援いただきました。たいへんお世話になりました。本年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。 今年は子年。天竜・南アルプスでアカネズミやヒメネズミが撮影されるほか、天竜ではときどきニホンリスやムササビも目撃されます。浜松ではクリハラリスの分布北上が問題になっていますが、天竜ではまだニホンリスしか見たことがありません。 （栗） Thank you very much for all your help last year. Field mice (Apodemus speciosus and Apodemus argenteus) are photographed in Tenryu and the South Alps branches, and Japanese squirrels (Sciurus lis) and Japanese giant flying squirrels (Petaurista leucogenys) are sometimes seen in Tenryu. In Hamamatsu, the expansion of Pallas's squirrels (Callosciurus erythraeus) is a serious problem, but I have only seen Japanese squirrels in Tenryu. Kurihara

先週、自動撮影カメラのメンテナンスのために南アルプスブランチに行ってきました。積雪が予想される冬に向けて、カメラを高い位置に設置し直してデータも回収しました。真冬にはなにがうつるのか…。 動画はまるまるとしたカモシカ。秋に繁殖するのにあわせて体重が増えているのかも。 （栗） I went to the South Alps Branch last week for maintenance of camera traps. I retrieved video data and set cameras at a higher position before winter sets in. I am looking forward to seeing what animals will be photographed in the middle of winter. A stout Japanese serow was photographed at the end of October. He or she might have gained weight to breed in autumn. Kurihara

今週の日曜日 (11/17) に上阿多古小学校で開催されたぎんなん祭りにお招きいただきました。 当日の様子は、上阿多古小学校の HP に掲載されています。 http://weblog.city.hamamatsu-szo.ed.jp/kamiatago-e/2019/11/01337/ 今年度の出張授業のテーマが 2 回とも動物だったことにちなんで、1・2 年生が動物玉入れというゲームを考えてくれていました。なかなか難しかったですが楽しく参加してきました。 （栗）
