怒濤の実習ラッシュです。8/26-27 に「ふじのくに学：静岡県の農林業」が天竜ブランチで行われました。 静岡県内の大学が連携した「ふじのくに地域・大学コンソーシアム（http://www.fujinokuni-consortium.or.jp/）」の教育連携の一環として行われており、今回は県内 4 大学のさまざまな学部からおよそ 30 名の学生が参加しました。 1 日目は午前中に育種場へ。どのように林木の苗木が生産・育種がされているのかを、見学してきました。午後は演習林へ移動し、林内をハイキングしながら樹木について学びました。 2 日目は森林観察と林業体験。森林観察では天然林と人工林の比較を通して森林管理について学びました。林業体験では恒例の枝打ち・間伐体験を行いました。昨年は林業体験が大好評でしたが、今年はちょっとたいへんそうでしたかね。しかし雨が降る前に全日程終えることができ、ほっとしました。 （栗） On 8/26-27, "Fujinokuni Studies: Agriculture and forestry" was held at the Tenryu Branch. 先週 8/19 からの 5 日間、森林保全管理業務インターンシップ（前半）が行われました。 http://fc-forecol.agr.shizuoka.ac.jp/wordpress/?p=680 今年度は天気に恵まれ、演習林内での業務体験を 3 日間みっちり行い、天竜地域の企業であるフジイチさんと天竜フォレスターさんに 1 日ずつおじゃましました。最終日の南アルプスブランチでの活動もちょうどお昼だけ晴れたとのことで、十分満喫していただけたのではないかとおもいます。 （栗） Internship for Forest Management and Conservation was held last week! http://fc-forecol.agr.shizuoka.ac.jp/wordpress/?p=680&lang=en Students thoroughly experienced the work in the experimental forests in Tenryu and South Alps for three days and visited the companies in the Tenryu area, Fujichi and Tenryu Forester, one day each. シカ調査のための調査プロットと自動撮影カメラ、自動録音装置を南アルプスブランチに設置してきました。今回も糞や足跡、樹皮食の痕など新しめのフィールドサインを目にしましたが、実際の密度がどれくらいなのかは月末の富士南アルプス生態学実習でわかるかも（？） （栗） We set research plots, camera traps, and automatic recording devices for deer research in the South Alps Branch.
